Naomi Campbell To Face Assault Charges

Supermodel Naomi Campbell will face criminal charges over her alleged spat with a policeman at an airport last month.
The 38-year-old will be prosecuted after she was removed from the first class cabin of a British Airways flight bound for Los Angeles at London's Heathrow airport.
The notoriously tempestuous star had allegedly lost her temper after being told one of her bags had been misplaced, with claims she then assaulted armed officers who arrived to escort her from the aeroplane.
Although Campbell’s spokesperson refused to comment, The Daily Mirror reports she will now face charges after originally being on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
"She will be keeping the courts busy for some time,"  a source says.

Kanye West - Kanye West Fumes At Music Critic After B Concert Review

Kanye West has reacted furiously after a music critic gave a negative review to his live show.

Chris Wilson, a writer for Entertainment Weekly, had given West's Glow in the Dark tour a B+ and said the show - which also features Rihanna and N*E*R*D was "the ultimate ego-trip".

And in response, the Stronger star West has launched an expletive-laden retort on his blog.

"What's a B+ mean? I'm an extremist," he wrote. "It's either pass or fail! A+ or F-! You know what, f**k you and the whole f*****g staff."

Wilson had said of West's show: "In space, no one can hear you scream, but if you're West, everyone will hear you self-actualise."

But West said only a "very miserable person" could have produced such a cynical review.

"I actually feel sorry for you guys. Your job forces you to not have fun anymore," he continued.

"Grab a drink, holla at some nice girls, and party b****. You don't know s*** about passion and art. You'll never gain credibility at this rate. You're f****** trash.

"I make art. You can't rate this. I'm a real person. I'm not a pop star. I don't care about anything but making great art."

West, who recently split with his fiancee, ended his tirade by telling Wilson to never attend one of his shows again.

"You're not invited and if you see me...BOW," he added.

Mother alleging Spears was drugged

Britney Spears' mother has alleged that the 26-year-old singer was "drugged" by her self-styled manager, Sam Lufti, in order to take control of her life, home and money.
Reuters reports that Lynne Spears' allegations were contained in a sworn declaration submitted to the court in order to obtain a temporary restraining order against Lufti.
The restraining order against Lufti forbids him from contacting Spears in any way.
In the declaration, Lynne Spears alleged: "Mr Lutfi drugged Britney. He has cut Britney's home phone line and removed her cell-phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything - Britney's business manager, her attorneys and security guards at the gate."
Lynne Spears describes arriving at her daughter's home on 28 January and finding her in a confused state.
She said: "Britney... became very agitated and could not stop moving. She cleaned the house. She changed her clothes many times. She also changed her dogs' clothes many times. Britney spoke to me in a tone and with the level of understanding of a very young girl."
The singer's mother claims that Lufti told her and a friend that he gave the 26-year-old tablets ground up in her food to keep her quiet and told the troubled entertainer that she had to take "10 pills a day" if she wanted to see her two young sons.
Britney Spears' father Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallete have been granted temporary control of the star's assets, pending further legal proceedings.
A judge has ruled that Spears must be examined by a court-appointed psychiatrist to determine if she understands the legal proceedings.

PRISON BREAK star WENTWORTH MILLER knows when he is in love with a woman - because he will offer to cook for her.

The hunky actor, 35, admits he is a disaster in the kitchen, but he is willing to exercise his culinary skills - for the right woman.

He says, "Preparing a meal, because I don't cook. I'm afraid of the kitchen; when the stove's on it makes me nervous.

"If I actually leap over that hurdle and cook something simple, like spaghetti Bolognese, that would really show someone I'm into them."

Libertines duo reunite to pen stage musical

Pete Doherty and his former bandmate Carl Barat have reunited to write a stage musical together, it has been confirmed.
The pair, who were formerly in The Libertines, will write the musical for the Donmar Warehouse in London.
A spokesperson for the theatre, which is located in London's Covent Garden, said its associate director, actor Douglas Hodge, had been working with the songwriting duo.
The project, however, was "very much in the early stages of development, with no deadlines attached", she said.
According to various reports, the musical will document the struggles of an up-and-coming rock 'n' roll band.
Last April, Doherty and Barat performed together for the first time since the Libertines split up in 2004.
Both have new band projects, with Doherty fronting Babyshambles and Barat currently working on his second album for Dirty Pretty Things.
Their one-off reunion in April followed an interview with Barat in which he said he would be "happy" to work with Doherty again "at some point".
At last week's NME Awards, Barat told the Sunday Mirror he had been approached by the Donmar to write a musical with Doherty.
He said: "The theatre wants lots of new songs. We'll probably have to write about 20."

Commenting on the direction of the band's 14th studio album, REM's manager, Bertis Downs, said: "It's not like we're going to pretend these are ballads. These are rockers."

Nas removes N-word from album title

NEW YORK -- Despite shifting his controversially titled album from "N*****" to an untitled project, a flier touting a screening for Nas' new video, "Be a N***** Too," hit the Web on Thursday night.
Nas released the single "Be a N***** Too" online two weeks ago. On Thursday night, a flier for the video's screening hit the Web depicting feet bound with a rope and swinging above a lawn, as if to suggest that the person photographed was hanged. The flier promises a private screening in New York for the clip but does not specify a date.
The Queens MC recently shot the video with director Rik Cordero in Los Angeles and New York. According to New York's WQHT Hot 97, the clip will feature several celebrity cameos and a plot line drawn from a film dealing with race relations in America.
Nas changed the name of his upcoming album to an untitled LP on Monday, which prompted mixed reactions from the fans. The Rev. Al Sharpton, who has long spoken negatively to the press about Nas' previous album title, called the album's title change a victory in the New York Daily News this week.
Def Jam was unavailable for comment. Nas' upcoming album is slated for release July 1.
